Luke Humphries is undoubtedly one of the most brilliant stars in darts today. As an English darts professional, he has secured the top spot in the PDC Order of Merit with flawless performances.

The 22-gram Red Dragon Darts he uses seem custom-made for him, characterized by perfect precision and stability. Additionally, Humphries is widely known by the nickname "Cool Hand Luke," which symbolizes his mental fortitude.

He began his career as a darts player at the age of 16, when Humphries participated in tournaments of the newly introduced PDC Development Tour in 2011. In the 2024 World Championship final, he defeated the talented 16-year-old Luke Littler 7-4 and became world champion for the first time. Humphries was also duly honored at the PDC Awards with victories in the categories Player of the Year, PDPA Player of the Year, and Fan Player of the Year. In the same year, Cool Hand Luke was also the world champion at the Players Championship Finals. Since Humphries won this world championship title, he has been ranked first in the PDC World Rankings. Among other things, he has also won other major top tournaments, such as the World Matchplay, the Premier League Darts, etc. With his tournament victory at the 2025 Premier League, Humphries became the fourth player after Phil Taylor, Michael van Gerwen, and Gary Anderson to win the so-called Triple Crown, meaning he won the three most prestigious PDC major tournaments (World Championship, World Matchplay, Premier League).

From 2017, he won several PDC youth titles, became a top player on the Pro Tour in 2022, claimed his first major title in 2023, and won the World Championship in 2024. With these achievements, Humphries has completed the perfect transformation.
