Gary Anderson is one of the six PDC Top Guns and currently plays with "Gary Anderson Darts", which weigh 22 grams. The Scot is considered one of the most talented professional players of all time, as he achieved his remarkable performances at least until 2009 without regular training.
At the beginning of his career, Anderson joined the BDO. From 2006 to 2008, he achieved numerous successes under the fighting name "Dream Boy" and won four major tournaments. After joining the PDC, Anderson changed his nickname to "The Flying Scotsman" and had a strong start. Not only did he achieve his first nine-dart finish during the UK Open 2012 in front of live cameras, but he also reached the PDC World Championships in 2015 and 2016. These two consecutive victories further highlighted his dart talent and increased his international recognition in the dart world. He also triumphed in other major tournaments such as the Premier League in 2011 and 2015, the World Matchplay in 2018, the World Cup of Darts in 2019, etc. And from 2019 to today, The Flying Scotsman has frequently performed well in major competitions.
