Damon Heta is a professional dart player from Perth, Australia, whose nickname "The Heat" refers to his work as a firefighter.
In his early career (since 2007), Heta primarily participated in tournaments in Australia and the surrounding area, especially in tournaments of the WDF, where he gradually gained fame and increased his strength. The Heat won the Pacific Masters final in 2011, debuted in a DPA tournament in 2013, and achieved his first DPA Pro Tour title a year later. After that, he overcame formidable opponents such as James Wade, Gary Anderson and others at the Brisbane Darts Masters 2019. This caused a great stir in the darts world at the time. After switching to the PDC, Heta achieved his breakthrough: He not only won his first PDC Pro Tournament in the Autumn Series final, but also reached the quarterfinals of the World Cup of Darts with Simon Whitlock. In recent years, Heta has continued to play at a high level and has regularly reached the semi-finals and quarter-finals in several tournaments. This has solidified his position in the darts world.
From Australian grassroots player to successful world-class dart player - Heta's experience has inspired and given confidence to many other players from overseas.
